Career & Expertise

As a neurologist, professor and scientist, my aim is to combine cutting-edge medicine with personal and compassionate care. My clinical training at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich and Heidelberg University Hospital, together with many years at Tübingen University Hospital focusing on neurovascular and neuroimmunological disorders, forms the foundation of my work today as Head of the Department of Neurology at Kliniken Calw and at our specialist neurology practice in Baden-Baden.

My scientific work enables me to incorporate the latest research findings and modern diagnostic and therapeutic approaches directly into patient care. At the same time, I take the time to provide thorough diagnostics, clear and understandable advice, and treatment strategies tailored to each individual patient.

Medical innovation, professional excellence and a respectful, empathetic approach to every patient guide my daily work. My goal is to provide neurological care at the highest medical standard – expert, personal and based on the latest scientific evidence.
