Diagnostics & Treatment

Conditions We Treat

Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disorders

We provide care for patients with ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, transient ischemic attack (TIA), and other cerebrovascular diseases.

Dizziness and Balance Disorders

We provide care for patients with dizziness and balance disorders, including benign positional vertigo, vestibular disorders, and symptoms caused by neurological or cardiovascular regulatory disorders.

Headache and Migraine

We provide care for patients with migraine, tension-type headache, cluster headache, and other primary and secondary headache disorders.

Increased Intracranial Pressure and Cerebrospinal Fluid Disorders

We provide care for patients with disorders of intracranial pressure and cerebrospinal fluid circulation, particularly idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) and normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH).

Nerve and Muscle Disorders

We provide care for patients with polyneuropathies, nerve entrapment syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral nerve injuries, as well as muscle and neuromuscular disorders.

Neurodegenerative Disorders

We provide care for patients with Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonian syndromes, dementia such as Alzheimer’s disease, and motor neuron diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders

We provide care for patients with epilepsy, epileptic seizures, as well as unexplained episodes of impaired consciousness or loss of consciousness.

Fainting (Syncope) and Unexplained Loss of Consciousness

We provide care for patients with syncope (fainting), recurrent circulatory symptoms, and disorders of the autonomic nervous system and cardiovascular regulation.

Neuroimmunological Disorders

We provide initial assessment and ongoing care for patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), MOG antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), and other neuroimmunological disorders.

Second Opinion for Carotid Stenosis

For patients with carotid stenosis (narrowing of the carotid artery), we offer an independent second opinion as part of the statutory second opinion procedure, including advice on surgery, stenting and non-surgical treatment options.

Second Opinion for Disc Herniation

Not every disc herniation requires surgery. As part of the statutory second opinion procedure, we review your medical findings and provide independent advice on surgical and non-surgical treatment options.

Diagnostics & Treatment

Our Diagnostics

Ultrasound of the Neck and Brain Arteries

Neurovascular ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive and radiation-free examination of the arteries supplying the brain. It helps detect vascular changes and blood flow abnormalities and plays an important role in stroke diagnosis and prevention.

Specialized Neurovascular Ultrasound

Specialized neurovascular ultrasound provides a more detailed assessment of blood flow to the brain and vascular regulation and can detect right-to-left shunts and microemboli.

Electrophysiological Diagnostics

Electrophysiological diagnostics assess the function of nerves, muscles and central nervous pathways. They help detect, localize and evaluate a wide range of neurological disorders.

Nerve and Muscle Ultrasound

Nerve and muscle ultrasound is a painless and radiation-free technique that provides high-resolution imaging of peripheral nerves and muscles.

Electroencephalography (EEG)

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a painless test that measures the electrical activity of the brain and provides important information for the diagnosis of epilepsy and disorders of consciousness.

Lumbar Puncture and Cerebrospinal Fluid Analysis

During a lumbar puncture, cerebrospinal fluid is collected from the lower back and analyzed to help diagnose disorders of the brain, spinal cord and meninges.

Memory and Dementia Assessment

Dementia assessment helps evaluate memory and concentration problems and includes a neurological examination as well as standardized memory tests to assess cognitive function.

Tilt Table Test

The tilt table test helps evaluate dizziness, fainting (syncope), and disorders of cardiovascular regulation by monitoring blood pressure and heart rate during controlled changes in body position.

Fundus and Optic Nerve Assessment

Neuro-ophthalmological assessment combines neurological and ophthalmological evaluation and plays an important role in disorders of the optic nerve and visual pathways, as well as in cases of suspected increased intracranial pressure.
